We’re really proud of our chess teachers! Many chess centers care mainly about the teacher’s chess abilities. But we’ve found that a great chess teacher needs much more than that. That’s why we’re proud to say that our chess teachers are great at making lessons fun and exciting for kids. Our teachers strive to leave each student with at least one “special moment” every lesson. Sometimes, that means celebrating a new chess skill they’ve picked up. Other times, it could mean surprising them with cake for their birthday.

Beyond that, our teachers have the chess abilities to back it up too. Many of them are certified to teach in MOE schools and have received coaching certifications from FIDE, the international chess federation.

Your child can bring a water bottle and jacket for the camp. All chess materials will be provided. They will also be receiving a free chess set that they can bring home and play with. Who knows, your child may end up teaching you chess! #value

Yes, the final day of every camp involves a mini-tournament between all camp participants.

Many of our campers join our group classes and/or participate in our weekly chess tournaments. Our camp syllabus changes each camp, so they can also come back next holiday for a different experience!
